Sounds like a great place with all those boaters together. Do you plan on stopping back here on your way back north ? When I was a teenage we had a condo in Islamorada and I have fond memories of trips down to the Keys. A far drive but worth it

Great posting!!!

Years ago Frank and I saw plenty of manatees in the Crystal River area of Florida. They would come out to play in the mornings while the mist was still on the water. We loved watching them. Such a beautiful sight.

Wow! I’m so happy for you. So much good stuff there - the human connection and the animal connection! See turtles, manatees AND dolphins! Any one of those on their own would be cool, but all three?!? A fun way to spend your birthday week. ❤️ PS: hopefully the new toilet seat worked. 🤣

Hey Kelly and Dale. I have enjoyed all of your posts and the updates of your live aboard life. Marathon Key reminds me of my grandfather. He started life as a commercial fisherman in the gulf and knew the man who owned the first and only house on Marathon Key. That guy offered my grandfather a FREE lot on the island if he built a house. I am amazed by the number of boats anchored off Marathon Key....its changed a lot.
